Zemská brána, Pašerácká lávka
Zemská brána in the Orlické hory is a beautiful nature reserve with the Divoka Orlica River, which forms a deep valley here. You can walk along the nature trail, admire the pre-war fortifications, the Smuggler's Bridge and Ledříček's Rock, associated with a bandit legend. On the steep slopes you will find interesting rock formations, popular with climbers.

The Zemská brána nature reserve is located in the Orlické Mountains along the Divoká Orlice River, from the border with Poland to Klášterec nad Orlicí. It was declared in 1987 and covers an area of 88.2 hectares at an altitude of 570 to 650 meters. The main reason for the protection is the rocky riverbed of the Divoká Orlice, which has created a deeply incised valley. On the steep slopes of the valley you can find interesting rock formations, popular with climbers. The name "Zemská brána" refers to the place where the river, which forms the state border, turns inland and creates an imaginary gateway to the Czech Republic.
The forests in this reserve consist mainly of spruces, firs and beeches. The best-preserved stands line the river and include rare plants such as the Austrian chamois and the variegated oleander. The fauna here includes the common chough, water chestnut, black stork, red fox, European red deer, roe deer, wild boar, great spotted woodpecker and black woodpecker. Occasionally, mouflons also appear here.
One of the dominant features of the area is the historic stone bridge over the Divoká Orlice, built in 1900–1903. The bridge was completely reconstructed in 2004–2005, while its original sandstone stones were preserved. The adjacent parking lot was expanded and access to the nature trail was improved.
The Land Gate offers great opportunities for hiking and relaxation. A blue-marked path with the Smuggler's Bridge and a nature trail that presents local attractions runs along the river. Visitors can see pre-war fortifications, Ledříček Rock, a gorge under the bridge suitable for boaters and rock formations for climbers. There is also the possibility of cycling in the area, although the section between the stone bridge and the Smuggler's Bridge is impassable on the left bank by bike.
